Potato and Bacon
Gratin
with Kochkäse

- Wash the potatoes and cook them with the skin on in a pot of salted boiling water. Drain the potatoes and cut them into thin discs.
- Wash the spring onions, remove the green roots under the bulb then finely chop the green stems and the white bulb.
- Fry the diced lardons, the potato discs and the sliced onions in the oil. Season to taste
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan-assisted oven).
- In a saucepan, stir the Kochkäse and the thick crème fraîche over a low heat.
- Spread the potatoes over the bottom of a gratin dish. Pour the Kochkäse sauce over the potatoes and bake the gratin in the oven for about 20-30 minutes.
