- Cook the pasta “al dente” as indicated on the package, then drain it.
- Meanwhile, peel the onion and cut it into small pieces.
- Fry the bacon cubes in a pan, without adding any fat, until they are golden brown. Add the onion and sweat until translucent.
- Add the melted cheese and the liquid cream. Add salt and pepper, mix and simmer for a few minutes over low heat.
- Preheat the oven to 200° C on the grill function.
- Place the pasta in an ovenproof dish. Pour the melted cheese sauce on top.
- Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and grated parmesan. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, until the surface is well browned.
