Kale salad
with cream and
Mettwurst sausage

- Dice the onion. Cut the Mettwurst sausage in half lengthwise, then dice. Heat the oil in a large saucepan, add the butter and sauté the onion for a few minutes. Add the diced sausage and fry until crisp.
- Wash and half the savoy cabbage. Remove the core and cut the rest into strips. Wash the pears, core them and dice into small pieces.
- Add the cabbage, pear pieces, single cream and stock to the onion-sausage mixture in the pan. Leave to simmer for about 15 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper. Arrange in a bowl and serve with a slice of bread or steamed potatoes.
