Kale salad
with cream and
Mettwurst sausage

  1. Dice the onion. Cut the Mettwurst sausage in half lengthwise, then dice. Heat the oil in a large saucepan, add the butter and sauté the onion for a few minutes. Add the diced sausage and fry until crisp.
  2. Wash and half the savoy cabbage. Remove the core and cut the rest into strips. Wash the pears, core them and dice into small pieces.
  3. Add the cabbage, pear pieces, single cream and stock to the onion-sausage mixture in the pan. Leave to simmer for about 15 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper. Arrange in a bowl and serve with a slice of bread or steamed potatoes.
