Pasta Bake with
Kochkäse with herbs

- Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package; drain and set aside.
- Dice the ham. Peel and finely chop the onion.
- Brown the diced ham in a frying pan, add the onion and sweat it until translucent. Stir in the whipping cream and the cooking cheese with herbs and season with salt and pepper. Mix well and simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
- Place half of the cooked pasta in a large ovenproof dish.
- Spread the spinach on top and cover with the second half of the pasta. Add the cooking cheese and ham mixture. Finish by sprinkling with the breadcrumbs and grated parmesan.
- Bake at 200° C (grill function) for 10 to 15 minutes.
Tips:
Macaroni or Farfalle pasta will also work well in this recipe.
To enhance the flavour, replace the diced cooked ham with diced smoked bacon or pancetta strips.
